SMS Text Messaging Terms and Conditions
These terms of use are a binding agreement between you and Shenandoah Valley Driving School governing your access and use of our SMS Text Messaging services. We acknowledge and you acknowledge that these SMS Text Messaging Terms and Conditions are between Shenandoah Valley Driving School and you, and not with any other third party. For privacy information regarding SMS Text Messaging, please refer to the SMS Text Messaging Privacy Policy.
Please read these terms of use carefully at the start of accessing and using SMS Text Messaging services provided through Shenandoah Valley Driving School. Cost
Shenandoah Valley Driving School will not charge customers for any SMS Text Messages, however standard message rates may apply. For detailed information regarding standard message rates, please contact your cell phone provider.
Frequency
Students and customers can expect one text message per appointment to be issued 24-hours prior to their appointment time. Per appointment, there will be no additional SMS Text Correspondence relating to appointment reminders from Shenandoah Valley Driving School.
Opt In/Out
Users are opted in to SMS Text Messaging when they provide Shenandoah Valley Driving School with their mobile number. This includes any medium in which you provide your mobile number, including in-person or telephonic communication, electronic sign-ups, and email correspondence. Users may opt out of SMS Text Messaging at any time by following the instructions at the end of each automated message. By replying “X” to any automated message sent by Shenandoah Valley Driving School, the user will be opted out of SMS Text Messaging. Please note that by opting out, you will not receive SMS Text Messaging notifications for any appointment reminders.
Cancellation Notice
For any cancellation or alterations to an appointment, please call Shenandoah Valley Driving School at +1 (540) 433-3668. Shenandoah Valley Driving School does NOT receive SMS text messages, and therefore the student must follow the instructions outlined at the end of each automated message in order to cancel an appointment. Appointment cancellations made through SMS texting messaging are NOT received by Shenandoah Valley Driving School, and the student may be charged the no-show fee detailed in their contract.
