Classroom Part 1

• Certified by VA Dept. of Education and Licensed by Virginia DMV
• 36 Hour classroom
• Must Attend ALL 36 periods
• Must be Completed Prior to Taking Behind The Wheel
• All Materials Provided

Behind The Wheel Part 2

17 Years or Younger

• Student MUST hold a Learners Permit & Have in their Possession for Each Appointment
• Must Complete 7 Periods of Driving, 7 Periods of Observation
• 2 Periods Completed at A Time
• Flexible Scheduling

Passed the 36 Hr. Drivers Ed Class
• Provide proof of completion (Green Card, DEC-1 Certificate)
• If not taken at SVDS, Inc.

Upon successful completion of BTW you will be issued a temporary license (DTS-B)
• Eligible to drive after holding learners permit for 9 months
• Attend the court licensing ceremony with parent/legal guardian
